Start by thinking about "What do the BCPS Character Objectives mean to you? How can you bring together all of the ideas expressed by the Character Objectives into one original sculpture, sign, symbol, picture, or other still visual media? How would you like to have your work represent character development in all Baltimore County Public Schools?"
Next, read the new BCPS Character Objectives and use them to inspire the creation of an original piece of artwork.

| Review the art rubric so that you can begin with the end in mind. Use the Wiki to develop ideas and have conversations about character. Ask your library media specialist for your user name and password. |

| Create an original artwork that demonstrates the new BCPS Character Objectives. |

Self-assess your artwork using the art rubric; make any changes you feel are necessary. Submit your artwork to your art teacher.

Vote for your favorite artwork and be sure to tell the artist why it is your favorite. Use the Think Abouts ( Elementary Think Abouts Secondary Think Abouts) and the Student Writing Checklist to help you respond constructively and responsibly.

I Did track when I was in the third grade. It was fun. we poured gatorade on the coach. He told us to run 2 miles around the track. Thanks for this picture to remind me of the old school years. Thankyou. THANKS THANKS THanks thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
